To use 1Password for Palm you will need to use 1Password’s Sync to Palm function to make sure your handheld has the 1Password Palm database and application installed.

Starting 1Password for Palm

After synchronization with the handheld is finished you will see the 1Password icon in the list of Palm applications. Tap the icon to start 1Password:

Entering Your Access Code

After 1Password for Palm has started you will need to select the database and enter the Access Code you created when you clicked Sync to Palm or Treo in 1Password for the Mac.

1Password Login Screen

The 1Password Palm database can be stored in the handheld’s main memory or on a memory card (SD memory card). The location of the database is selected in the Sync to Palm window.

The Access Code is used to protect your information and it is also entered in the Sync to Palm window. If you forget your Access Code, run the Sync to Palm or Treo command on your Mac again and enter a new Access Code.

Tip: If the Access Code you entered on your Mac is not accepted by 1Password for Palm, try checking the “Reveal” checkbox on Palm. In some cases Graffiti input is not accepted when Reveal is unchecked.

Item List Screen

After you enter the Access Code and tap the Open button, 1Password will display a list of Logins. You can switch between different item types by tapping the drop-down at the top of the screen. In the current version of 1Password for Palm you can switch between Logins, Secure Notes, and Wallet items:
